Tasting Notes:
This is a versatile coffee that tastes good at different roast levels. We chose a lighter medium roast profile to showcase the bright citrus flavors that are well complemented by a caramel sweetness. Tastes like peanut brittle and malt chocolate with a lingering citrus aftertaste.

French Press, Chemex, Drip / Pourover, Aeropress

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 From Half & Half to Full-On Bliss! ☕️

I used to be a die-hard half-and-half fanatic. Seriously, I’d pour enough cream into my cup to make my coffee the color of a summer tan. Then I discovered Kaveri and their single-origin Indian coffee beans… and my creamer took an early retirement.

This coffee is SO good, it converted me to a black coffee drinker overnight. Smooth, acidic, rich, and full of flavor without any bitterness—who knew coffee could taste this incredible without drowning it in dairy? Now, it’s just me, my coffee, and a cup so bold it deserves its own superhero cape. 🦸‍♀️

So long, half & half. Hello, coffee nirvana!

Delicious memories of India

This buttery coffee reminded me of our trip to Kerala India where we stopped every morning at a local coffee growers stand to kick off our morning with the local brew. As a horticulturist I am impressed with how Indian coffee is grown as nature intended amongst other natural trees and shrubs and carefully tended by the growers. I’ve been told that Kaveri coffee acquires their coffee beans from local farmers such as this one and supports fair pricing for them which in my mind is an added star for the company.

I’m happy to know that I have an excellent source for Indian coffee in Kaveri coffee. The owners are delightful to work with and will provide advice on how to grind and brew their coffee to bring out the best flavor. The thick easy to reseal packets that the coffee comes in keeps the coffee fresh and the packets are enfolded with colored tissue paper and decorative tape. It’s a quality gift that you can be pleased to send as well.
