Brewing: You can use any brew method with our coffees, although some flavors will be highlighted more with certain brew methods. We have listed some brew guides for each of our coffee offerings. We encourage you to try different methods, grind size and coffee-water ratios to find your perfect cup.

Packaging: All our coffee bags are certified 100% Compostable (Home and Commercial facility), including the de-gassing valve and labels. See our Sustainability page for more details.

Roasting: We roast to order in small batches on a Probat Probatone 5kg cast iron drum roaster (6-11 lbs) or a Loring S15 Falcon (12-22 lbs) at CoRo Coffee Roastery in Berkeley. We typically roast every two weeks, and ship you coffee that is 10 days from roast date or less. Each batch is roasted with utmost care and attention, and cupped afterwards for consistency and quality assurance.

Shipping: We ship all over the United States with free shipping for orders over $40 with USPS Priority Mail. Carrier recommended delivery time is 2-5 business days from ship date depending on the destination*. You have the option to choose other carriers or expedited shipping service at checkout. You will receive an email notification when your order is shipped with the package tracking information.
*Please note, that shipping services are experiencing a 1-3 days delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We thank you in advance for your patience.

Sourcing: We purchase green beans from partners that ensure the quality of beans, fair/direct trade with growers, and sustainable business practices.

Storage: All coffees have a shelf life, and should ideally be used within one month of the roast date. Coffee will taste best when ground immediately before brewing. Grind only the amount of coffee you plan to brew and store the remainder in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight, heat, and sources of humidity.

Wholesale: If you would like to sell our coffee in your café, restaurant or store, please contact us at hello@kavericoffee.com. We will get in touch to explore a new partnership.
